Sebuah tempat peranginan yang terkenal di Melaka tapi sedang dalam pembaikan pulih.
Rugi kalau anda tidak melawat.
Auyin Hill Resort, Durian Tunggal
13 Jalan Simpang Gading, Durian Tunggal 76100
Situated at Durian Tunggal northeast of Melaka town.
A resort constructed based on the Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui or Geomancy. The first of its kind in Malaysia. Everything has been placed beautifully relative to the principle of celestial and terrestrial positioning accuracy. This is to enhance its charm and prosperity. The place is decoreated with beautiful gardens especially the rose garden. On the hill, there is the match making stone.
It used to be a very nice tourist attraction but when i visited a month ago, the place was totally under-maintained. Many infrastructures were out of service and some of the decorative items were in a pathetic state...Hope there will be some renovation work done...
I like all the statues kept there.there is also a bird park with ecxotic birds such as the mandarin duck. The ticket charge is cheap.its a quiet place.but it lacks maintainence because of the lack of visitors.the place is calming. The signature place there is the moonlight well.there are five wells which supposedly bring u health, prosperity, longevity, harvest and wealth when u bath in the water from the well.
The Auyin Hill Resort is actually not a beach resort where you can enjoy a great day under the sun in the water. This resort is a highly intricate resort designed under the belief of Feng Shui. Each building, each structure is built according to the philosophy of geomancy. By this, it is believed that it has harnessed the "chi". Because of the structure's positioning, prosperity can be expected by the visitors of the structure.
Locating this hill is quiet tricky. It is located in Durian Tunggal which requires you to go a little bit off the road from Ayer Keroh but once you arrive there, you will have one of the best sights of Melaka. Most of the elements that you'll be able to find here are based on the Chinese traditional structures. All of these structures are full of texts, inscriptions and pictures that are typically Chinese in character. Be sure to stop by the souvenir shop to remember your visit to this exquisite place. Although you may have to travel a little bit more, the trip is worth it. If you're interested in Feng Shui, a trip to this Hill should be on the list of the things to do in Melaka.
Thanks for Mr. Thin for information and lovely pic of Aung Hill
